"Absolutely loved this hotel. Very unique. Large room and very nice and large bathroom. The staff was very friendly. We even got a history lesson on the building by the gentleman at the front desk. Nice breakfast and bar. Would definitely recommend."

"Great location . First impression a very grand staircase and chandeliers . Rooms have very dated wooden furniture like in continental hotels and I like it . The windows are run down and the bathroom very old but at the end of the day the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and if they updated every it would reflect in the price . Breakfast was buffet and was lovely, the restaurant did get very hot but it was on a hot day so they could do with looking into that. So I am very happy overall and would recommend this hotel to other travellers needing a short stay ."

"Booked a 3 bed room for an overnight stay for a concert in Blackweir Fields. We could park right under the hotel, so a good start. The room was very spacious with air con, tea & coffee facilities and very comfortable beds. Both a shower & a bath in the bathroom. The hotel is ideally located to walk to & from Blackweir Fields, and also to the city centre. We opted for breakfast as well, which was very good, with a full selection for all tastes & diets. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will certainly use this hotel again for any future visits to Cardiff."
