「I visited in the off-season, but being in a hotel on the water was fantastic. I caught two beautiful sunsets the weekend I was there, and from the back parking lot of the hotel, you can walk to the embankment of yard where it meets the Bogue Sound. My hotel room was great; breakfast was good. My only minor issue is that the pillows were not as solid as some others I've slept on at Hilton/Hampton hotels, but that's an easy fix: bring your own pillows. I shouldn't have assumed they'd be the same...

「We stayed here because of the proximity to the ferry, and for that, the location is really perfect. A short 3 miles to the terminal can’t be beat. The drive into Cedar Island is really amazing. And while the property is very spacious and has so many beds to offer to a group, it is not the Hilton, so be extra aware of that if bringing little ones with you.
