Wonderful. I could've stayed an extra week! I heard that most guests only pass through for a couple of days. What a shame! If you have the time or need a break from city life, this is a great spot. Cute treehouse-shaped cabins with a hammack. This is glamping, so - no widescreen TV, but the space is well heated and cooled by a wall unit, just like in most hotels or apartments. Tucked into the mountains, the property runs along a river. You can stroll along a man-made walkway (right in the...

Amazing service and great facilities. We were lucky to be the only two in the house so it might get a little squishy when its full. Works great as a platform on the way to Takachiho Gorge from the Usuki ferry at night.

I’m completely satisfied

fluent English, awesome Osen, nice and kind staffs It was new and very clean. l love cozy bedroom and restaurants near hotel. It is located just besides the Oita Station. I will surely stay here again.

Beautiful clean room, Onsen was great and so relaxing. Dinner was traditional Japanese and as good as I’ve EVER had. I would 100% recommend to anyone. We intend to return frequently.

Breakfast buffet is awesome and the front desk staff are great!

First off let me preface this by saying that you have to be open minded. Some foreigners want to go to a place and have it be just like home but in another country. If you are looking for a western style hotel that has a happening nightlife and tons of bars and people around, then this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for the real Japanese experience with a nice quiet getaway and amazing private onsens (private hot spring soaking baths) then this is your place. The staff was...

The staff here could not be more helpful! They were able to communicate comfortably in English. The breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT! The location was ideal! The room was comfortable, spacious an d well designed. Plenty of amenities

Great Onsen and great lounge.

The staff is so helpful and kind. Very comfortable property!

Shiosai no yado Seikai is an outstanding onsen/hotel in Beppu. From arrival to departure the staff, including Mr. Ohkubo, provided exceptional hospitality and service. Our room was upscale spacious, clean, modern and equipped with all the amenities that the most demanding guest would want. The furo/spa facilities were clean and well stocked with needed supplies. The food and restaurants in the hotel are excellent and can cater to any diner's needs. Shiosai no yado Seikai is an outstanding...

Absolutely first class in every way.

This was a gem of a hotel in the middle of NOWHERE. But I can't fault the hotel with that. The hotel was very clean, staff was nice and my room is huge for even Western standards. Just nothing to eat around that location... 😯

We chose to stay in Oita one night before heading to Beppu to experience the onsen. This hotel is easy to find, as it's a straight shot on the main road from the station. The hotel was clean, quiet, had great amenities, and offered extra toiletries for women. The room was spacious compared to other similarly priced hotels in Japan, and the breakfast, which was in the restaurant attached to the hotel, was outstanding with many different options and regional specialties. I especially liked the...

Favorite spot to stay in Beppu. Great staff, great rooms, and good food.
