「The property is an older location, built in 1975, but is well maintained and perfect for a getaway with my son and friend. The pier is not far away and surf fishing is just across the street. This is our second time staying in Bogue Shores. We may go again. The room was newly renovated and and was excellent with no issues.」

I left 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the mattress was a bit too firm & the bathroom door was odd - it doesn’t close all the way, so there was no true sense of privacy. I would have preferred to know that prior, but overall, beautiful spot & the coffee shop was amazing! The staff were great & I can’t wait to come back!」

「Perfect place for a couple's retreat. The outside of the property was in need of TLC and the upstairs isn't being used. It was worrisome at first glance, but don't judge a book by its cover. Once inside, the room was super clean, and everything was in good working order. You could be on the beach in one minute and the gazebo on the walk to the beach was very nice. 「Amazing place to stay as always. Such a great location and quite. If I had to complain about anything was people parking there to use the beach. Seen many times people leaving the beach and getting to there cars and leaving. Maybe they were special ones, I don’t know. Wish the futon couch was a little more comfortable to lounge around when watching tv. This is being to picky! The place was great and we will be back. This is our go to spot. Been here many times! Love it!」

The owners were there that weekend cleaning up the property, staining the picnic tables, and washing the dock. You can tell that owners really care about taking good care of this place.
