"Booked a five-night stay for business meetings in the local area. My room was very clean and hit all the spots for me. Nice big desk area for working. Wifi was fair, not really fast but allowed me to get my work done with very minor slowdowns. Enough plugins for charging devices. The bathroom was basic but had space and was very clean.
Check-in desk is located in the pub. Not really well marked on the outside so I ended up going in the restaurant door and had to get directions. No problem, as now I knew where the pub was located.
They don’t serve breakfast. There is a McDonald’s right next store and a 7-11 about a 5-minute walk away. So some basic options. I ate in the pub several times for dinner and the food is very good. Yes, some standard pub options but with the attached restaurant, they have a good selection of options outside of normal pub fare. Really enjoyed the food and they have a good selection of beers, ales, etc.
Overall, highly recommended if staying in the Salisbury area.
Ps. Coming from North America, we would call this a motel and not a hotel. But I was informed that in Australia because it has an attached pub and restaurant, it is called a hotel. Noted!"
