「Linens and towels were clean and adequate. There was a mini coffee maker with a packet of coffee grounds provided. It made excellent coffee. I wish there had been more cups provided. The air conditioner was noisy- - I’m glad I had brought ear plugs! The room had little extra space, things were tight. The bathroom was cramped. I’m glad I am a small person, otherwise I might have had trouble sitting on the toilet as it was in a corner and when sitting there my knees were under the sink.」

「Everything was just fine for the one night we stayed: the room was clean, the bed comfortable. I liked the end second floor room facing the nice trees. We didn't use the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. It was a nice location for being quiet, and not too far from downtown. The staff were friendly. Thanks!」

「Our Log cabin was nice and comfortable and made us feel like we were in the Deep Woods! The Staff were helpful and friendly! The restaurant nearby was Great!」

「This was a nice condo with a kitchenette, coffee pot and microwave. It had a large shower that was really nice. This unit didn't have a whirlpool tub, which was fine, since it was 4th of July weekend, we weren't in the mood for a hot bath. Nice, quiet and the balcony was nice. Pretty view of Lake Superior. Parking out front of the building. Large bed and comfortable. Chairs and ottoman for sitting and relaxing after our hikes. Would have been nice to have dish soap in the kitchenette. My husband...

「Eat at the restaurant at the hotel. It was the best. I’ll never have better north woods biscuits and gravy. Chicken tenders, burgers, fries, ribs, chicken parm were also all so good. It was great.」

「Envelope on entrance welcomed me and instructed me with a code for entrance. Was able to locate information to businesses and had a pleasant visit with another guest. Facility isn't staffed but a phone call away from help that was needed.」

「Property is right in Grand Marais, so you can walk to everything from there. You also have a partial view of the lake.」

「An ideal location, with a fabulous view of Lake Superior. Large decks on every room, really relaxing. The hotel is a bit outdated, the keycard readers were hit and miss, the front desk is not well staffed, but it was an enjoyable stay. There is a light breakfast in the morning, nothing to write home about. We did have an eagle fly past the deck multiple times each day, that was amazing! I recommend staying if you are looking for a low key weekend with a fabulous view.」

「Hey there fellow travelers! This place is all about location location location! It is being updated nicely! Website could be more helpful, but know there IS a small fridge, but no microwave. There IS a hairdryer (helpful for most with long hair). Shampoo and body wash, make-up remover packets, Keurig and k-cups provided. No conditioner. All in all, a great home base location for all the top things in the area! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!」
