"What a beautiful place to get away from it all! Located at the very end of the Gunflint Trail, Sag Lodge was the perfect spot for our family of five to unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Northwoods. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the stargazing was incredible! We loved the feeling of being tucked away from everything. Our accommodations were clean, cozy, comfortable, and just the right size for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was clear that the property was thoughtfully cared for and well maintained. There’s something really special about being at the end of the trail, surrounded by so much natural beauty and quiet. We’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"Great cabin with a wonderful view and very close to Lutsen. I stayed two nights. The kitchen was well appointed for my needs and I felt very comfortable. The cabin allows for meaningful privacy amongst the trees. The negative I experienced was one, but for me, it was significant - the hot tub was not ready for use when I pulled the cover back at 8pm. The water temp was 79 degrees. I reached out to the owner, who told me that it "shouldn't take long" to heat up once I adjusted the desired temp. After an hour, it climbed 5 degrees, so 1 of 2 nights without a hot tub. I took a photo and sent it to the owner who conveyed his apology and said he would "try to compensate" me, since I had chosen this property for the hot tub and recognized the premium I paid to have a hot tub. I never heard back from him."

"It was a very good place for a family event with ages 3 to 80. There were many nearby activities. 5 bedrooms were great even if one door needed fixing so you could latch it. Plenty of towels and the kitchen was well equipped. The grill made for a relaxed evening with good directions for the spare tank of propane. The youngest really enjoyed the pool and our problem was getting her to leave. Expensive to this older woman, but cheaper than some resorts."
