The Motel Ely was a fine place to stay. It’s very basic but has what you need. They allowed us to bring our bicycles into the room which was nice. We had to run the water for about five minutes before the hot water arrived.

Clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. We just needed a quick stop for one night. The fridge and AC were appreciated. Would stay here again. The owner was very kind and helpful, especially ensuring that we wanted to stay in spite of recent fires in the area. We enjoyed our stay in Ely.

Lovely little motel with retro charm. Enjoyed a clean room and comfortable beds in a well-maintained facility. Not much fancy here, but an easy location in a cute town, and it suited our "up north" visit super well. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed the staff and the motel is cute and clean. It was old and not updated for convenience, comfort and our electronics, but quaint and an unusual experience.

The internet was not good-either nonexistent or very slow. Parking lot very small. When you first walk in the room seems very dark-dark carpet, dark curtains, wood paneled walls and one wall with a forest mural. Bathroom fixtures were very dated but clean. No ice machine. The lady at the desk was super friendly and very helpful regarding restaurants, things to do etc. She tried to fix the internet but the fix didn’t last long.
