The property was tidy and the service was okay. The only drawback was the size of the elevator and the lack of air conditioning

I had an incredible sleep, a really comfy bed, and so dark and peaceful. The staff are great and the rooms are really cool. The one lift is an issue as you can wait to get into a very crowded lift, and every thing costs more money ( leaving bags etc) also the rooms don’t have wardrobes so not ideal for a long stay, but well worth a night or two

Rooms were a little outdated and required some touches, but in general, was a nice experience and got this old English style hotel feeling. Very walkable and easy access to subway, breakfast was decent and stuff very friendly

Hotel is fine for the price. Only issue we had was the staff. We arrived late and ordered food to be delivered and requested a plate and knife and fork and apparently this is impossible. A hotel which serves breakfast which can’t provide some cutlery is just ridiculous.

The staff at the Royal Eagle were wonderful. Our room was on the 4th floor. At night it was very quiet hearing no street noise. We did not try the breakfast, so we can't comment on this. While our beds were not the most comfortable, we were tired at night, so our sleep was undisturbed. The bathroom was more than adequate, with plenty of hot water. Location of hotel is in minute's walk of trains and busses, plus plenty of yummy eating places. We would stay here again for sure.
