"Staff (esp Sam, Venessa and Vim) was excellent in this boutique hotel. Was very personable and always with a smile. We stayed for a week so we got to know them. We got the biggest room they had and it was worth it. It was too cold for the pool, but it looked nice. The upstairs terrace was the perfect place to watch the sunset with Table Mountain in the background as well. Also loved the free breakfast. Not only did they have a small spread with baked goods, fruits, yogurt, n breads, you order from their breakfast menu! We tasted most of it and we liked all of what we tasted. Def have the pancakes. They have a prof coffee machine so you can order however you like your coffee. Also we had one dinner there and the seafood platter for two was yums. It’s like <30min away from V&A wharf but it’s worth it. Def rent a car though. I stay here again and would recommend this hotel! Oh the beach! Just a short walk to the beach which was really nice with all the flora blooming. Twas nice and relaxing just to go there in the morning walking all that breakfast I just ate. Thanks to all the staff again!"

"What a lovely stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking a peaceful beach and the ocean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and took care of me during my stay. The bar and restaurant staff, transport desk, reception staff were all great and made my stay one to remember. I would like to particularly thank the lovely Sonia who looked after me everyday at breakast time, and the spa manager who was also super friendly and helped me during my stay. Thank you all. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend. Thank you. "

"My wife and I opted to stay at an Island Club for the Christmas period, however, due to it usual regular hotel (Marriot) being fully booked, we opted for Island Club. Unfortunately I must express that whilst the staff were friendly, the rooms were never cleaned to hotel standard, the breakfast area is extremely poor and lack space. There is also no restroom facility in the buffet area, so guests are forced to go up to their rooms if they require that. Lastly the maintenance of our room was very poor. "
