"Everything was lovely. My one concern was the key safe. I didnt realise that you had to tirn the little button on the top to open it. A minor thing but would be nice to have known rather than phone for help. "

"Room was well appointed and clean. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful and hot. Water, coffee and biscuits along with a selection of tea's in the room. Views from the room were good, it's a quiet area. Staff here are polite and welcoming, whether they are serving you or just passing by. We paid for breakfast, lots of choice for cold breakfast, really is something for everyone. Hot breakfast was to order, we could pretty much choose anything. Food could and should have been hotter considering...

"Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff who were so kind and helped us get into the car park in the heavy snow when our car couldn’t make it!! Absolutely couldn’t fault this hotel, the room was clean, lovely and spacious, in a great location easy to find and get to. Breakfast was really great and overall the stay was such a reasonable price, all of the staff were friendly and so helpful. Would absolutely recommend, thanks again :)"

"I found the room was clean tidy and adequate at the price point unfortunately there was a problem with the heating and it was an extremely cold night. I was provided with a small electric heater but it wasn’t the best night for me. Also probably my own fault but I didn’t realise until my booking confirmation that there was a separate charge (£15) for parking. "

"Really great building with character & charm and excellent staff. Highly recommended. Would be five stars if it wasn’t for the truly dismal breakfast offer (NB: if a packet of Alpen is your best offer you could at least put a pint of milk in the fridge! Very poor)."
