「The gentleman at the front desk was agreeable and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast was listed as continental so there were no hot items. But it was edible with bagels, cereal and yogurt and hard boiled eggs.」

「Great Service」

「朝食会場は時間にキッチリでご飯食べていてもさっさと片付けられてしまう。 匂いが少し古臭い」

「Breakfast was virutally nonexistent. The staff failed to keep up the pace in resupplying the buffet. Very disppointing.」

「Nice people. Very comfortable. Breakfast is great. 2nd time there. 3rd time Shirley will happen. I like the pool, the gym and also the bathroom they have near the front. It is useful. 」

「The staff here were excellent, the room was very clean. The staff was able to get my wife and I in the room sooner than the 3pm check-in time at our request since we were there for a wedding which also started at 3pm so we could change clothes which was a huge help! The exterior is in need of some attention here and there. The transition between the bathroom and main part of the room had frayed carpeting - it wasn't a big deal, but it was noticeable. The breakfast was very good!」

「This is one of the best hotels I’ve been to in Merrillville. I used to stay in Merrillville when I’d come home to visit Gary. The quality of a lot of the other hotels in the area made me choose other areas like Portage or Hammond, but this hotel will definitely be a viable option if I choose not to commute further. Clean property, dope room. Very spacious. My only complaint is that the remote was not compatible with the television so I couldn’t use it.」

「Smooth checking in, friendly staff, good service such as 24 hours coffee available!」

「朝食がいろいろ選べて良かった」

「値段が高い」

「上層階の足音がちょっと気になりました。」

「Right when you walk in the hotel it smells like dog/dog food. It was disgusting. The towels they gave us were stained and has hairs from the previous people. It was a horrible experience. The front desk worker I talked to was nice when I went to complain but that was the only nice thing about this establishment. Do not recommend. So gross!」

「The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. What they had to work with was poor. Marriott should be ashamed to keep a hotel with their name on it in such rough condition. Every guest that I spoke to had issues with their room. For me I had to change rooms because of extremely low water press so that the toilet barely flushed and took five minutes to fill between each flush (I timed it) and needed repeated flushing to clear the bowl completely. I don’t know about others but I had...

「This location is run down and not maintained well. Room was not very clean. Electrical wires exposed on ceiling where either a light or a fan should have been. This was my 2nd stay in last 4 years. Will not be returning as there are other options in the area. First stay experience was not as bad but wasn’t great either. One positive was the front desk person was very nice, friendly and helpful during check in and check out. (Was same person)」
