「All staff obviously wanted to help. Staff kind, actively listen. Breakfasts were delicious, a great way to start each day. Good value. Weather was dreadful, so zi will return again to enjoy the walkways and beach. Probably July … really looking forward to it.」

「Pillows were terrible. The thermostat and the ac fight each other - they aren't connected. The furnace heats the rim up then the ac kicks in and cools it down. Then the furnace heats it up. It was an uncomfortable sleep due to the temperature and pillows. I've never seen such a small hotel room in Canada, and thought it was over priced for such a tiny room. The staff were good. The breakfast was ok - eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt.」

「Saturday night, my sleep was interrupted at 2:30 AM from the patron above Us by stomping on the floor. Sorry to complain, but Our stay was not good, the staff were excellent, the breakfast was minimal at best. The in room coffee was adequate. We won't be staying here again for the price and noise. Crews are the problem.」

「If you can get over the check-in which is painfully slow the place is a good value for the money. The older gentleman at the front desk has had his best years behind him and tries his best to check you in with the limited resources he has to do this. Instead of getting upset about the time it is taking show some compassion for him. If he comes by your room later to make sure you have the correct number of guests in the room once again do not take offense, I'm sure this is the way he has been...

「Hotel has a smell of cigarette smoke or stale booze , staff was unavailable from desk area locked and wouldn’t answer the phones Decent area of the town was a good thing But i wouldn’t recommend this hotel if your looking for a good lake experience if your looking for cheaper low end low expectation This is your place I wouldn’t ever rebook my self also no amenities In the room and blankets and sheets are questionable」

「We rented this strictly for a kitchenette. The stove top didnt work we did find a hot plate in the cupboard no idea if it worked or not because there was no pots and one tiny frying pan. There was a mixture of dollar store and garage sale bowls plates cups ect. The room was filthy with repairs needed everywhere. Honestly we would have just left if the nicer hotel in town wasnt full. We are not picky people we would have been fine if the room was just clean. The only good thing was the water...

「Nicely renovated rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Received upgrade to queen suite - vey nice with separate bedroom, living room and kitchenette (no stove). Moxies restaurant attached and Dennys next door (discount if staying at Sandman). Definitely will stay here again when in Red Deer.」
