"We only really used our room to sleep in so the fact it was clean and comfortable was exactly what we were looking for. We were glad of the air conditioning as it was very muggy at night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful."

"Amazing hotel in the Jr Suite. The AC was a little warm compared to other friends staying as well. Check in was great. I am not a fan of AI as the concierge/front desk. I don’t want to WhatsApp or text someone for something when I’m in the room and just want to call the front desk. Otherwise amazing hotel and amazing location."

"This is a superb hotel. Location excellent. Lovely bar area and staff. Gym is great but could do with heavier free weights and proper cable machines. Pool is fantastic and unusual to have a pool of the size you can train in. One significant point though. Breakfast. The cost is obscene. I have stayed through work in some 5-6 star hotels and nothing comes close to the cost here. You can ring up room service and have a burger for less than breakfast. 35 euros is too much. As a party of four we went over the road and spent under 40 euros for all of us. Not a reason to reduce the score of what is an excellent choice and paying for breakfast is personal preference but it seems steep. Aircon in bar works! Take a jumper."

"I especially want to highlight the care and dedication of the staff—one night after walking all over Berlin during a heatwave my daughter managed to lock herself out of our room and we were so exhausted we didn’t hear her knocking. The staff found her wandering in her pjs, gave her a popsicle to calm her down and got her back to our room safely, and we didn’t even know it had happened until the next morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, and in a lovely quiet area surrounded by beautiful green parks while still being in the heart of Berlin. We were there for a family vacation and being able to slip into the back door of the zoo was magical."
