「Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great! 「Lovely quiet county retreat. The staff were so nice and food delicious. Wonderful area for hiking but note that wooded walks only straight from the hotel. Only a short drive to get to more open hiking. Great towns nearby too.」

「Muy bien, solo que deberían considerar, hay trabajos con maquinaria bastante ruidosa, y ya no se sabe si es el vecino que al parecer está usando desarmadores caen tornillos, etc...o es algún trabajador reparando, pues casi todo el edificio está lleno de andamios, siendo así, la tarifa resulta inconveniente, cuando ya casi llevo 15 días utilizando sus estancias」

「Nice view over the city. Calm sporty area, with several sun beds in the park if you wanna rest from the city. Close to a big supermarket. Not suitable if you have problem walking. Choose taxi to and from the AirPort.」

As we frequently drive from France through to Portugal and return, this will now be a regular stop for us and we’re already looking forward to revisiting. 」

「Warm welcome & our bedroom was immaculate. Lovely evening meal with excellent wine choices. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Good parking available. We were leaving early in the morning & were able to pay our bill before going to bed, leaving the key at reception & departing quietly Will definitely return & I can recommend this hotel」

「Mooi historidch en gerenoveerd pand dicht bij de snelweg, zonder hinder te ondervinden van dese snelweg. Vriendelijk personeel en onze hond was heel welkom. Kamers zijn brandschoon en de hele accommodatie ruikt lekker. Electrische oplader voor auto is gratis, maar wel erg traag. 」
