「Great location a short drive from a beach we found. There isn’t a lot near the hotel but it is accessible to the surrounding areas for visiting places by car or bike. The room was large and had aircon plus a huge Dyson fan which was a plus in the heatwave. King size bed and double aspect and tastefully furnished with tea, coffee and water. Couldn’t fault the room. We ate in the restaurant ( outside dining) which was great but I booked prior to arrival. The food was average, we had a steak which...

Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all.
Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late.
Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.」

Such a warm welcome from David and Pumpkin. The accommodation is superb and immaculately clean. Opted for the jacuzzi room which was an excellent way to relax after a busy day. David thinks of everything and the little touches for dogs and humans alike we’re greatly appreciated. Communication throughout was friendly and informative.

「Lovely place in the New Forest, easy to find but lives up to is name of "Retreat". Everything was really nice, bathroom was enormous with a large tub. Shower was blocked so avoided but didn't cause issues.
When we did have an issue with the door it was sorted in person straightaway. Only marked down "comfort" because the mattress was too firm, but that's each to their own. 」
