"Hotel MONday Asakusa was a wonderful stay for our family. The staff was friendly and efficient from check-in to check-out. The facility was very clean, and the rooms were a good size by Japan standards, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast Buffett was great with plenty of options, and the location was perfect - close to everything. The rain station, Don quijote and Sensoji-temple were both within walking distance, which made exploring the area so easy. This will definitely be our family's place to stay from now on"

"The spa area is excellent with compact but very great variety of bath types, one so amazingly hot, and a sauna. For the well-beaten tourist path on the east side of Tokyo I would recommend but not more than a couple nights as travel to the west side is not easy nor quick. The location is pretty intense close to Sensoji temple but at least 6-8 minute walk from each station through croweded area and there are no direct trains unless going close by. The breakfast, which is expensive, is not worth it. Pros: - nice and quiet at night - spacious rooms - very quaint feeling hotel with a lot of nice touches (manga room, free wash laundry, snacks) - spa is one of the best Cons: - inconvenient to use as travel base except for immediate area - food, breakfast buffet, is neither of quality or variety- skip "

"I booked this room with my sister. Paid the same price, had the same number of people (6). She received a large room with plenty of beds. I received a much smaller room with fewer beds. Website said 2 people to a bed. These beds are tiny and do not fit 2 people. Twin beds!! Also, got in around midnight after a long day of travel and was nearly told I could not stay as they could not accommodate me and my party. I had 2 adults, 4 small children and a newborn baby (who did not need to be included on booking as she would be sleeping in bed with mom). Place is clean, cuz its Japan, but definitely way too small to be worth the cost. "

"Highly recommend this hotel. It is in a nice area, close to Senso-Ji temple, transit, lots of shops and restaurants. There is a nice terrace where you can take pictures of the temple and Tokyo Skytree. The buffet breakfast was excellent-Asian and Western. Free coffee in the lobby. The staff was kind and helpful. "

"Everything was fantastic except….we had a room on the premium level. Floor 10. There is a lounge there that serves juice, tea and coffee with some sweet snacks. the unfortunate part about the lounge was, no food brought in or out. No drinks in or out. If you wanted to have a nice glass of wine at the end of the day it’s not possible. It’s such a missed opportunity what could be a great lounge! "
