「Whar stood out for us was the amazing space and wonderful host. It was an excellent getaway weekend. 」

「Parking lot was huge and no one was in it this time of year; there were NO staff present at all - our room keys were in an envelope taped to the wall when we walked in the front. Also the bed frames need to be replaced. You could not move at ALL on the bed without horrible scraping and squeaking noise - we are talking just to SIT on the bed... Rooms were pleasant and view of the river was nice... even the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday so.... we saw NO ONE.」

「The heater did not work so house was freezing. Fireplace did not appear to be working, and wood was wet and did not burn. Bed was not comfortable. Hot tub was gross and did not work. Sauna did not get hot. The pictures looked better than the actual experience. 」

「Staying here made for an easy trip with our family, including a 2 year old and 8 year old. Three bedrooms are on roughly the same level as the entrance, which made it easier for my mom to get around. Everything was comfortable. The front room has great sofas for lounging and is more spacious than photos show. Highly recommend! 」

「Retreat #2 is wonderful on its own or as an additional rental with the main house. We rented it for our extra family members and they really enjoyed their stay. The beds were comfortable and the space nicely laid out. We would definitely stay it again!」

「The house was nice, but so many security cameras, kinda felt creeped out! Also received a call the night we arrived informing us that if we stepped outside and had conversations, the police would likely be called by the neighbor and we would be charged a fine. Little bit upsetting that we where not informed this prior to night of arrival.」

「The property was as described except you could not get down to the bank of the Truckee River in the back because it was so steep. The rooms were clean. The kitchen was adequate. There was a large refrigerator/freezer. We did not use the hot tub unfortunately. We like it mostly because it was so close to the Tahoe Rim trailhead and parts of the PCT」
