"The view made the trip! Hearing the ocean, watching the waves - fantastic!! The room was also quite large for Japan - the biggest room by far out of the 5 hotels we stayed at."

"very nice the place and the amenities are also good and the food delicious staff very kind.👌✌️😘"

"The open onsen feels still feels private since it can fit really only 2-3 people so others just wait their turn on the outside balcony. Doesnt take that long anyways. Just be aware of the trek up the hill and the hotel has no elevators."

"On the top of a mountain with an incredible view. No shuttle to resort but a short taxi drive. A good workout to walk up after dinner. Onsen great, hardly anyone there, very private. Only one hot onsen and a cold one."

"Very nice, new and clean. Food was great with side selection of both meat fish and vegetable dishes. The foot spar was under maintenence but it was too hot to sit outside anyway. Nice place would definitely stay again as it's also located a few mins walk from sea and the newly revitalized shopping streets."

"From the moment you arrive, the welcome is warm and you can feel you’ve stepped into somewhere truly special. The service is outstanding, and both the room and the garden area are luxurious, elegant, and peaceful. This hotel is simply magnificent — a true paradise on earth to unwind and forget everything for a weekend."

"Staff were so helpful. The room was in good size with private onsen. Dinner was good."

"Perfect !"

"Amazing historical hotel with famous golf course. Groups are well kept despite the old age of the resort. Nice pools and good food."

"Amazing hotel in Hakone! Stunning property, staff were lovely! Beautiful spot right on the lake. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come Back to Hakone"

"Excellent buffet breakfast , very helpful staff, great Onsen & love the free ramen at night"

"We were a family of 4 and stayed for 2 nights. Spacious and comfortable room (make sure to get the rooms with a sea view - watching the fireworks from our balcony was amazing), good hotel amenities and the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. Recommended"
