「One of the greatest hotels I ever stayed in my like. Located in a beautiful area adjacent to Essex University.」

The room (6) was spacious with a good king size bed, but was directly over the kitchens and, with the windows open during summer, there was a fair amount of noise. Since it was a weekend, there were weddings on so the catering staff were working late. The following morning after breakfast we did find the toilets downstairs had been left in a pretty filthy state by the wedding guests, so the cleaners had not yet started their work. 「It was my first stay at The Chudleigh, the outside of the building is beautiful, inside, the areas are clean and tidy, the owner and all the staff are very welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed, nice furniture and the hotel provided lovely little extras. The breakfast room was lovely and the food absolutely delicious. We had a great stay thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, I would highly recommend the hotel to anybody, we will be...
