Holiday inn Orwell

Excellent hotel to stay at. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable beds, well laid out breakfast. Only downside was no air-con on one of the hottest days but still slept ok. Please stop using the cheapest toilet paper available, it lowers the whole tone of an otherwise excellent hotel.

A good and convenient hotel.

I have stayed here before and found it well maintained, clean, comfortable and safe. On this visit the hotel did not disappoint either, though the bar staff left a lot to be desired, three chatting while you wait in an empty bar is not good. A big contrast to the young man on reception, welcoming, quick and efficient. Convenient for Ipswich, Felixstowe and even Bury St Edmund are a very easy drive

We booked a king room over Christmas and we really liked it, we were very comfortable in there.. nice and cosy, lovely furniture. Very clean and staff very friendly. Quiet no noise. Thanks for a pleasant stay!
