「It’s like stepping back into the 60s/70s. In its’ time it would have been the place to be. The decor is love it or hate it, but I found it a guilty pleasure. The bedroom was large, clean with a view of the lake and a balcony. The bed was really comfortable. Crisp, clean white bedding. I slept like a log. The carpet and curtains were faded and the shower head sent out water like a hose rather than a sprinkle. There was also a vent sending cool air into the room whether it was wanted or not. But...

「The place was nice, but very hot, wish we knew we could have had brunch outside because the bar was too warm. the rooms were very hot, we were given fans, but it made very little difference. Bar area in the evening was very warm. Spa was great, food and service was good.」

「3度目の利用です。リフトがないのでいつも2階の部屋でスーツケースを持って階段を上るのに苦労していました。今回はフロントの女性がスーツケースが多いのを見て1階の部屋に変えてくれました。感謝でいっぱいです。」

「宿泊した部屋は、ホテルの裏手にあり、部屋の中は綺麗だったが、広さが狭く、風呂も狭かった。、レストランや食べ物屋が近くには少なく、徒歩で遠くに食べに行った。（パブは近くにはあった）」

「Nice clean hotel, but bedrooms very dated. Window held together with worn out cello tape. OK in the summer but I imagine cold in the winter. Shower head would not stay up and cubicle old and rusty. Plug sockets loose and TV aerial socket fell out. 」

「Excellent service. They went beyond the call of duty when I asked for ice for an event my daughter was helping organise at the cinema just 100 yards or so away. The answer was would a bin liner full be enough! Fantastic food and A class breakfast. Only downside is no black pudding!」

「We were in Godalming for an Ultra Marathon and the location was perfect as it backed into the event village where the start and finish was. The staff were really friendly and attentive to us after we had finished the marathon. The property was lovely and relaxing with good facilities 🙌」

「We absolutely adored our stay here. We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon - without even asking the staff made up our room with rose petals and a congratulations card. Rafael instantly made us feel welcome, it was a quiet and clean place, and the English breakfast they cooked for us was delicious. We without a doubt, will be returning for a longer stay and recommend to anyone looking to escape to a quaint bed and breakfast. 」
