Wonderful place to stay and visit. Food is so Good and staff were all accomodating and helpful.

Spacious room and beautiful ocean view property. Spectacular outdoor onsen. Delicious buffet dinner and breakfast. Variety of food choices with Italian and Japanese dishes.

I know my husband plans to write a longer review but until that happens, just know that this lovely little gem is exactly that. The staff went above and beyond to meet our every need. The villa was beautiful as was our outdoor onsen which I wish I could have taken with me. The real stand out for us was the staff, their kindness and the quality of the food. We were truly blown away and agreed that we had some of our finest meals here. On second thought I wish I could bring Chef home with me....

The room was fantastic. We loved it. The beds were so comfortable and the view was so beautiful. We used the onsen and it was magical because we had a full moon. The bath products they have for the guests and the onsen user are the best smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash i have ever used in my 51 years. Having stayed in a plethora of ryokan over many years in Japan, this is one of the best experiences I've had so far. Wonderful staff, excellent food and character galore. I'll be going back.

Absolutely lovely. Felt like I was staying with family. Quick walk to the gorgeous beach, next to a beautiful shrine, and a short walk from a delicious Ramen place. Not to mention the Onsen!!! What a magical experience it was to enjoy the outdoors and soak. And last but not least the breakfast! Felt like my mom made me lunch for the day. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Easily one of the best hotels I've every stayed at. The staff is courteous, helpful, and very professional. Despite its age, the hotel does not feel old or worn out - I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained, clean, and neat everything was. As soon as we got off the bus, the very nice and attentive staff met up with us at the stop and began checking us in and welcoming us with some delicious tea. We were promptly led to choose a traditional robe robe/yakata and led to our rooms after the tea. The rooms are very well kept and was spacious. The ocean view we had was beautiful. We were fortunate to get a room with a private onsen outdoor bath. It was very refreshing and relaxing. Definitely would recommend anyone or group visiting...

Very clean room and attentive staff. We enjoyed a half board each day and were met with an exquisite multitude of Japanese traditional foods and delicacies. The surrounding town is quiet, and uber/taxi is available for travel. This is an amazing experience to immerse yourself in Japanese culture, reset, and unwind. Our favorite part would have to be the onsen.

The best hospitality

This is place is the perfect getaway to relax. Although you need to take a bus, this is place is easy to find. If in doubt English speaking staff is available at the tourist information in Shuzenji station. This ryokan offers 4 type of onsen bath of which three can be enjoyed privately at no extra costs.
