Very new and clean. Public bath on top floor was very clean and comfortable with an outdoor bath option. Rooms very well organized even if it is small, and bathroom is bigger than the standard unit baths in hotels in japan. The price for the you get is unbelievable value. Highly recommended!"

"I loved how clean and convenient the hotel was. The area is lovely, and fromt he hotel, you can get anywhere easily. The stuff was very helpful and friendly, with one exception: I specifically asked upon my arrival when I should sent my luggage to the airport to get it there in time for my flight. My flight was Friday afternoon, so I asked if Thursday afternoon would be fine. I was emphatically told that I should send it Thursday morning. Wednesday evening I go to arrange my luggage delivery: I am told it is too late and that I should have sent it 48 hours before the departure time (this was 6:30 PM on Wednesday, my departure was 5:35 PM on Friday). It was explained away as miscommunication, because we were speaking Japanese (I teach college level Japanese, so I can at the very least understand dates and time). I would recommend the hotel display clear information on their "takyuubin" service: non-Japanese guests might need to know that Yamato only picks up airport deliveries 48 h prior to desired pick-up time. "
