I received confirmation from Hotels.com and thought nothing else of it until I arrived and found out I had no room. In a panic I contacted Conestoga via Hotels.com. "The house was not well kept and there were cleanliness and maintenance issues. When I stripped the bed the stains were disgusting. The owner lives in the house and you can hear his tv and you can hear him coughing. It was so odd and unsettling. The house has potential but need a major overhaul."

"The stay was very comfortable, quiet, safe, and felt like home. Everything was clean, a full kitchen, livingroom with ROKU TV, and washer and dryer. We were able to enjoy the open but shady hiking trails in Columbia for a few days between Kansas City and St. Louis. Very nice, and will stay here again if passing through. The owner was a very good host to speak with by phone. Highly recommend."
