「The location is very good, facing the high street. The room and facilities are old but satisfactory except the noise and smell the toilet produces after flushing water. The fast free wifi connection is available. Most of the staff are friendly and professional.」

「The property is in the process of a major refurbishment. Whilst the dining facilities were not yet fully operational the potential looks fantastic.」

「We had an amazing 1 night stay. We had parked up the road just off high street (24 hour car park) as parking limited (permit only outside) at the pub but was easy to find car park and walk down to the pub was a couple of minutes. When we arrived in the pub we were welcomed by Babs and Summer. Summer showed us to our room, you have to go through a staff only area and as it is a pub the ceilings were low but we liked that as it makes the stay different. We were told all about the late night...

「An ancient pub with fantastic bedrooms. Easy parking, excellent range of beers in the bar, great staff, clean and well looked after room. No restaurant at the pub but a fantastic breakfast basket in the room. Really nice place. Thoroughly recommended」

「Staff are very friendly, food is very good and reasonably priced. The building is lovely and full of character, however the rooms are simply decorated. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, there were no parking spaces when we arrived in the afternoon so we had to park down the street, but parking is free in Long Melford so this wasn't a problem. 」
