Ski rentals and ski pass purchase can be conveniently billed to the room. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Our clean and well maintained Japanese style room overlooks the slope and is spacious enough for four adults even has its own outdoor onsen bath. The half board package is great value for money - the Kaiseki dinner has a different menu every night, while the breakfast spread offers variety and is sumptuous. Futaba’s onsen is another delight, there are two each on the sixth and seventh floors and are rotated daily so we get to experience all of them during our stay. Overall Futaba provides a five-star experience and is highly recommended especially for visitors on a skiing holiday. "

Everyone greets you with a bow and civility, right down to the hardest workers in the hotel. For that, i will surely come back. My stay at the Prince Hotel East was worth every yen and then some. I originally was suppose to stay at the Sunvalley Hotel, in Shiga Kogen. I lost my reservation there due to payment issues. I was hesitant about coming to the Prince Hotel. It was my first time. The room i stayed in was probably one of the best i have seen for the price. The next time I am in Shiga Kogen, i am staying at the Prince Hotel East, without a doubt."
