"After receiving the usual e-mails in the countdown to our trip we finally got one with the hosts contact details the day before we departed. They didn't answer my call and did not respond to my e-mail. We called before departure and again the call was not answered but we left a message with our contact details and then set out on the 3 hour journey. "My poor experience with this booking started 5 minutes after booking it,where i received a confirmation email for booking followed by another email to say i have to pay 50 pounds extra for linen which was not mentioned in the booking, so ive contacted Expedia and they adviced that i should not pay and they will get in touch. "The host and apartment were great! The only downside was the key collection and drop off process— I found it a bit of a hassle having to commute about a half mile on foot, with my belongings, to receive and return the keys.If keys could be left at a closer location, or if the doors can be changed to a coded lock, that would be an extremely helpful for future patrons.
