Despite Huntington having its challenges, I really love the area. My daughter is a student at Marshall and I always look forward to being there. Highly recommend Christoher's Eats on Route 60 (on the way to Barboursville) for Sunday brunch!

A good college town. Seemed safe, I walked several blocks late at night to my car and did not feel threatened.

I was in town for the opening of Jack Cook Field at Marshall. It was my first time in town in 35 years and I was amazed at the progress it has made.

"We showed up after 6pm. Beds were not cleaned or made. Dirty towels were on floor. Track can was full. Dirty dishes in sink. Bathroom not cleaned We had to strip beds, wash all sheets (and dirty towels), then out in dryer and remake beds. We had to put dirty dishes in dishwasher and run it. We had to take out thrash and wipe down bathroom. After speaking with owner, they took a miserly 50 off the rental Do not stay here"
