"We have stayed at this location several times and have always had a positive experiance. Although this time we requested a king bed but our room had 2 they did move us to anither room which was great. The problem was our TV did not work. I called down to the front desk they reset the box with no success. We logged into our NETFLIX account on the TV Which worked But valume dud not work. This is a isolated incident. We will be staying here again our next time through."

"We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel, the staff, and the breakfast. We checked in at 1 am after driving 6 hours from PA. We requested a handicapped accessible room, which we got. The room looked okay until I walked into the bathroom. The tile floor had dried urine all over it, like someone didn't bother to use the toilet! Granted, there were clean towels available, which I ended up putting all over the floor so we wouldn't walk on the urine. It boggles my mind how housekeeping did not bother to clean this room before we checked in!! I was not about to trouble the young lady at the desk at 1 am to switch our room since we were leaving in the morning. We were tired and just wanted to sleep. The bed appeared to have fresh linens ( or so I hoped ) I was so upset, I barely slept hoping there were no bugs in the room! In the morning, we quickly showered, again, trying to not walk on the floor!! To add insult to injury, the breakfast buffet was a mess and looked like it was from the day before. When we turned in the key, no one was at the desk. Several staff members were in the office chatting. I never leave these types of reviews, but I was very disappointed in the quality of this property. We travel several times a year to Kentucky, and find Bridgeport/Clarksburg a perfect half way point. Needless to say, we will not stay at Wingate in the future!"

"Room was clean. Staff seemed a bit annoyed when I was checking out. Breakfast is always good. There could be more parking, not a ton of spots. "

"The hot tub was broken. The pool was very cloudy and dirty. We found about a 12 inch long black hair in the gravy at breakfast and they tried to up charge me $10 for a room that I had already paid for in advance through Expedia"

"I checked in and got my room on the third floor. The minute I walked off the elevator, the smell was overwhelming. A very strong musty smell. The room was ok with the smell, but still there. I never check beds when I stay in a hotel, but I checked this one. There were stains on the mattress protector. Lots of hair was also found on the mattress protector. The pillows were yellow with stains. The curtain was ripped and a huge water stain was on the curtain as well. I couldn't stand to stay there. I also took plenty of pictures. I went down to the desk to speak to the manager but they had left for the day. I spoke with the front desk clerk and told her the room was disgusting. She asked if I wanted another room and I just made a face. How would I be comfortable in another room knowing what was in this room. She then offered for me to just check out and I agreed. I found another hotel nearby and was grateful to find a room at the last minute. I would not recommend this place to anyone staying in the area."
