「This was our fourth or fifth time staying at Jim’s place. We are repeat guests for a reason. As always the house was awesome. We celebrated our anniversary spending time in Thomas and Davis, frequently at the Billy Motel and Purple Fiddle. When we were at home we had a fire going constantly. The ambience is awesome. It snowed A LOT our last night and I thought we’d be in trouble. Jim had a plow truck come out that morning and cleared the driveway for us. As always, thanks Jim! 」

「First and foremost, the condo was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I loved that it had a little balcony to enjoy my coffee in the morning and to view stars at night. It is in a beautiful setting and only 4 miles from Davis, where you can find places to eat. The location is ideal for visiting many natural areas and Blackwater State Park. It was very quiet the week we were there in early October too.」

「The outside mountain views were amazing. There were deer in the area. The cabin was extremely clean and nice. It was decorated just right and made us feel at home. The kitchen had everything necessary plus extras if needed. The coffee maker was ready as well as a nice grinder. Amenities were numerous and appreciated. The gas fireplace was delightful. 「We loved the fireplace, the hot tub, and the comfy beds/linens. We have 7 kids ages 5-16 and this home was affordable and spacious for us. Even though we only stayed a few nights, we utilized the large capacity washer and dryer. Thank you for providing such a cozy lodging opportunity!」
