"Wonderful!!...2 bedrm/2 bathrm with huge balcony for BOTH bedrooms/living room.....that's our view in the photo........check-in is at Regency 3 blocks away, but they brought luggage to unit....pool is next door at the "Reef"....It's on the sandy beach but ROCKY bottom 20 yards out in water - booo!!.....beach side restaurant in the "Reef" is a rip off. Eat breakfast down the street..........."

"Oh no, it was a great day, the rooms are a bit dated with older carpet and such so if you’re looking for that brand new crisp feel this isn’t it. But on all it seem clean and everything function well with a great location if you’re looking to be right in the heart of Waikiki. Easy with kids as the pressure was low. "

"Island Colony was a great place to stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with cookware, toiletries, towels, and even beach chairs and a backpack cooler. I loved the patio view and enjoyed relaxing out there. The pool, hot tub and sauna were clean and relaxing, and security felt solid. The only downside was parking -- the kiosk instructions are confusing, and you have to use separate elevators for the garage and rooms. Definitely ask staff for help the first time. I'd...
