"Petit Lafitte was exactly what we were looking for - a peaceful getaway in a place that wasn’t too loud or big and had amazing views and a unique bungalow experience. "Mahekal is a beautiful resort. The lush foliage and palapa “cabins” make you feel like you’re a million miles away from everything, but it’s very convenient to great restaurants. It was peaceful and serene. The staff are all amazing, especially Meraz, Claudia and Jesus Brito in the Revive Spa. The hammocks in the balcony are just an added bonus. If looking for a party scene or on-property nightlife, this isn’t the place."
