"This was amazing onsen beside the Yubatake (which is right in front on the hotel) so you are in the middle of the town they have Yukata you can borrow and take wear to walk and take pictures outside too. "The owner is the most attentive and accommodating man! Made sure we hade all we need, know where to go, even inquired as to where we were going…to make sure our experience was great. Hotel is older but in great shape. The free/24-7 in house onsen was hot as heck! Varied day by day of course depending on what is being cooked up underground! Very clean. "

"This was our first time in a Ryokan! And we loved it!! We enjoyed wearing the Kimonos provided and having a multi course dinner! They were also able to provide vegetarian options for dinner as well. The onsen at the hotel was much larger and nicer than the free ones outside the hotel. There is a toilet in the room but no shower, so you have to use the public bath to shower."

"Enjoyed overall stay. The room is great. Hot springs are awesome. Vegan options for the food could be better. Make sure to check that kids are included when receiving confirmation. We didn’t and have to pay 1/4 more and it was already expensive. I checked the price online for four of us and it was exactly as we paid while booking but the confirmation letter didn’t include kids so we have to pay anyways. Otherwise happy with stay."
