We waited ten minutes for them to figure out we already paid. And finally they said we owed another $ 25...

The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. "Close to bus station. Close to stone steps. Older hotel but staff was very nice. Near steep hill, so I walked about 50 yards to ask staff at driveway if this was the hotel I was looking for. Then he ran up the hill to help us with our bags. I was very pleased."

"清潔で綺麗なホテルでした。 このサイトでは素泊まりプランしかなかったのが残念でした。。。 前日にホテルへ相談したところ、+5000円/人で夕食と朝食を後からつけることができ、現地では朝夕ともに個室で美味しくいただきました。 温泉も24時間入れるため、滞在中に何度も入りました。他の方のレビューにもあるように、露天風呂の温度は少し低かったですが、温水プールと思えば問題無しでした笑。一応、風呂の上の方に温かいお湯が溜まっているため、手でかき混ぜると全体的に暖かくなります。 また今回は貸切風呂も利用してみました（写真アップしときます）。 全般的にはかなり良かったと思いますので、また利用させていただきます。"

"Staying at Shima Onsen was a real delight. I would highlight the incredibly friendly and gracious staff, who made me feel very welcome and looked after as a solo traveller, and made the beautiful dining experience even better. I enjoyed walking through the lovely nearby streets and forests - it felt very secluded and tranquil. And there was nothing better than coming back from a big walk to relax into one of the onsen - either public or private, depending on what you preferred. I wish I had more...

"The hotel and staff are fine. My issue was with our particular room. It had a nice modern kitchen, with walls that were red brick, two different odd wall paper, and a beach mural. The ceiling was green with pink trim. The two twin beds were mismatched in style and height. The couches and bedding sheets were dirty with stains. As I look through their advertised rooms, I don’t see pictures of our particular room."
