Basic facilities but all working order. Clean and Good location for exploring Yuzawa area, if you are comfortable with Japanese style travel."

"Large lodge within short walking distance of Prince Gondola number 2. My group of 5 stayed in for 2 nights. We had 2 tatami rooms with the wall divider separated to make the room 1 large room. Sleeping arangements were Futons on the floor which we had to unfold and prepare ourselves, but everything was provided in the cupboards. Sinks, toilets are shared with everyone on the same floor but there is plenty to go around for everyone. There is also a mens only and womens only communal bath on...

"It was great experience staying at this place. Right after we went to gala Yuzawa ski came back to the hotel and dipped ourselves into the large Ofuro in the basement. Smoking was not allowed inside or well outside the house so it was the only problem me and my friends faced during the stay but all in all we enjoyed our stay at the place. Place is warm and cozy. Recommend for friends and family or in groups over 5 people. "

"Our room was not prepared when we arrived- the beds were still left as is from the previous guests and we went down to notify the property staff- with which unfortunately, we could not communicate in neither Japanese nor English."

"Location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the station and chair lift. Kitchen staff is very thoughtful. I stayed for 3 nights, although all 3 nights were hot pot for dinner with the same ingredients, the soup base was different for every night. Staff are super friendly, making you feel welcome. The only issue I had was on the first night when there kids staying and they ran around the whole lodge making all sort of noise until late."

"Thank you to Kanzan-san and family for welcoming us, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great location next to White Valley ski resort. Hydrogen spa was wonderfully relaxing. Kaiseki dinner was absolutely delicious and it's clear the hosts put a lot of care into the whole experience. "

"During my stays, the staff were very friendly and nice. Room and shared bathroom are clean. Shared bathroom is located in the basement, which is a bit inconvenience tho. Good place for a skiier-friendly and clean place to stay and travel-lite folks. "

"Location is great very close to the ski resort. But lodge is not as good as the ski resort.children were running around all the time even during the late night. Food was not so fresh, staff wasn’t very kind to answer our questions. The ski resort is awesome, however I won’t chose this lodges anymore."

"Great place to stay if your looking for a spot near several ski resorts. Sundar was hospitable and helpful towards myself and my foreigner crew. Will tell others about this location for future visits. "

"The hotel and staff are fine. My issue was with our particular room. It had a nice modern kitchen, with walls that were red brick, two different odd wall paper, and a beach mural. The ceiling was green with pink trim. The two twin beds were mismatched in style and height. The couches and bedding sheets were dirty with stains. As I look through their advertised rooms, I don’t see pictures of our particular room."
