This is a great spot to stay for your Reykjavik visit. It's about ten steps off the main street. They had a great breakfast and very friendly staff. The rooms are a bit small but they are functional and we were there to see Reykjavik not sit in the room.
It seemed like a very safe area, we actually went for a walk on a Friday night at 1 am and there were lots of people out and about, we had no concerns at all.

Perfect location in the heart of down-town Reykjavik. Full, but tiny, kitchen and a great breakfast delivered to your door every day. Even only two blocks from the Airport Flybus pickup for convenience to getting to and from the airport. Staff were very nice and accommodating - free luggage storage if you have to wait for check-in or check out before you're ready for your flight.

My group of 20 stayed here for 3 days prior to our cruise. Excellent location except for the uphill walk from the bus stop #3 where we got dropped off with our luggage.
