Galveston Island State Park Ski Vacations

This hotel has outstanding ‘can do’ staff. The Reception staff make you feel welcome, the rooms are well serviced, a shuttle is provided for nearby ( 4 mile radius) areas and a good selection of easy meals are available with bar service too. The Foyer can be a bit noisy but if you like convivial people this hotel is one you’d enjoy.

The property is great. Can't beat the location if you're looking for lots of commercial in walkable distance. The issue I have is I stayed there 2 weekends ago and have yet to receive my receipt. I have incidental charges of ~$270 on my credit card and have spoken to 4 different people since checking out, including the front desk and their customer service. I was told I'd receive a copy each time. The second to last time I was told it was being escalated and I'd receive in one business day. Instead I've only received one email....a marketing push to book another stay. I assume I have to physically go there this weekend to resolve the matter as when I call, I'm told they can't see what the charges are for.

Good

All the staff were very friendly & helpful especially all the receptionists… We enjoyed our stay that much that we have rebooked for when we return to Houston

Clean rooms and amazing place to stay
