Excellent location check in was easy- great happy hour at sister hotel across the road. Car parking was great and included- would definitely stay and recommend again

We had an incredible stay in the most peaceful and comfortable room (Kelly) with a stunning vista, the staff aren’t on site at all times, and there is a beautiful self-service communal kitchen that is well appointed with some tasty local basics (cakes, jams, toast). I certainly couldn’t have asked for anything more, it’s exactly what we wanted. But don’t expect full service with amenities galore. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Wrest Point meets quality standards typical of casino hotels in many major cities around the world. It provides not only clean and modern accommodation but also affordable dining and responsible gaming options for guests and walk-in customers. We booked two-nights stay in a deluxe harbour-view room that was well appointed near the lift on the twelfth floor of the hotel tower. While the room size is quite small for two adult guests, the view of the Tasman Bridge and the Derwent River from our room was spectacular and uninterrupted. A hotel room in the main tower can cost approximately $280-$300 a night. However, this iconic property offers other affordable options such as the adjacent and newly refurbished Water Edge and Motor Inn accommodation catering to travellers on a tight budget. We were able to recover some of our accommodation cost by saving money on food with the hotel’s complimentary buffet breakfast and food vouchers and discounts redeemable if you are of legal age to sign up for membership in the hotel casino’s rewards program. As an added bonus, the indoor pool, spa and sauna were not crowded and easily accessible. Overall, we had a ball staying in this hotel!
