Excellent location near Gloucester station, museums, Tesco convenience store, and the church I attended daily. Walk a bit longer and hit Knightsbridge area with Harrods and other places to shop and eat at. The rooms were cleaned daily and well, the staff were friendly and accommodating, but there are not many amenities to speak of as it is a small boutique hotel. The reception room was spacious enough to meet in and to snack and have a drink in. Breakfast room is in the basement, but we did not have breakfast there as we got meal deals at Tesco for breakfast and ate in the reception room. Downside: carpets are old and need to be changed. Note: we were told hotel is under new ownership & management. Overall, a wonderful stay, but not if you want something new, modern, fresh in a boutqiue hotel. Decor is traditional, stuff is old but decent.

The location was great. It had a full kitchen and a washer/dryer.

Excellent value for the money. Room was clean. Good black out curtains. Plenty of channels on the TV to watch. Tea kettle with tea and two bottles of water. Small fridge. Good bath/shower and bathroom. Bed was a bit soft but no big deal. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer all my questions. Easy cheap bus ride to and from Heathrow. I happen to come in from Terminal 3. Booked last minute at airport. I didn't eat breakfast there and I didn't get a chance to see the fitness room, that only opened at 8 or 830, which is pretty late for the morning, and it closed at 10pm so that wasn't late enough. I never know why some hotels don't have these open 24 hours. Anyway, overall excellent value.

Very clean public areas and rooms/bathrooms although our en-suite bathroom definitely needed updating. Very tatty woodwork and tiling. Beds and pillows were quite hard but spotlessly clean and a/c very welcome during the recent heatwave. Staff pleasant and helpful. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Handy for tube station and situated in a quiet road. Would stay again.

Accessibility to tourist attractions was great. Walkable to train station.
