Excellent hotel and convenient to the train station

The location and atmosphere of the hotel is really good. However, the hotel is ridiculously short staffed. We could not get room service as no staff member was available to deliver to the room. When we went to the bar area, there was only one staff member working for the entire area. We gave up and went elsewhere. It could be a wonderful hotel but management has shot itself in the foot by being lousy with staffing.

My daughter’s dirty clothes—placed directly next to her travel bag on the floor—went missing during our stay. We lost hundreds of dollars in high-end activewear, including a Lululemon jacket, a Vuori set, Alo socks, and a Vuori halter. When I reported it, front desk staff claimed housekeeping "accidentally tossed" the clothes into the trash and that the refuse had already been collected. They refused to show camera footage to verify who entered the room, denied any theft, and insisted it was my mistake for leaving clothing near the bin. Considering how small the room trash cans are, it is completely unreasonable to claim a full wardrobe's worth of bulky clothes was mistaken for garbage. Management took zero accountability and offered no compensation or reimbursement for our lost property—they simply comped a single breakfast. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of responsibility and security here. I would not recommend staying at a hotel that takes so little care of its guests' personal belongings.

Convenient location, clean room, helpful staff.

Probably the best location for easy walking to the most wonderful old buildings, fountains, plazas, and restaurants of the tourist area of Brussels. The hotel is very nice, clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. So many things to do strolling outside of the hotel that we did not have the opportunity to go to the rooftop bar which everyone tells me is a must...
