The hotel is a beautiful property but our room was not cleaned properly - crumbs were left by previous guests and were still there when we left after 2 nights (with maid services during our stay!). The temperature control for the shower also did not work well. The gym was small but clean. Breakfast buffer was a bit disappointing in terms of variety and quality.

We visited the hotel during a busy period and getting in required going through security. It was a fairly quick process however. We also had an issue with housekeeping not doing a great job making up our room. The bed would be lumpy and on one occasion it was made over a bathrobe instead of moving the bathrobe to make the bed. I told Tom the front desk staff and they were great. They really tried to rectify the situation and make sure we were happy/comfortable even though it really wasn’t their fault.

It's in the most convenient location, with many dinning and shopping options. Food is excellent at the club lounge, great breakfast buffet spread in the lobby and delicious snacks at the Jazz Bar. Excellent and knowledgeable, English speaking service staff all around. Special shout to Max and Melody at the club lounge for making our stay at Fairmont Peace Hotel an exceptional one!

The suite we had was enormous and equipped with everything you would need if you were self catering, although we were only there for 3 nights. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with a wide range of choices, including bacon & eggs so I was happy! Well located with some excellent malls nearby.

Food was exceptional especially for breakfast, choices at the buffet was hard to beat and I’ve been all over the world. The lounge also was also fantastic as well, a must have upgrade if you’re staying at a Sofitel. This particular property, though nice is in need of facelift especially in the rooms and hallways. The staff was indeed helpful but it puzzles me why they wouldn’t emphasize languages for better communication it being a hotel that caters to foreigners. Jason the night manager was extremely helpful on my first night in as well.
