Giannutri Pet-friendly Vacations

The hotel looks great as you come into the foyer, but the corridors and general upkeep let it down. The walkway to the pool is not welcoming and pool bar very limited for food choices. The water jets in one pool were not working. The outside area is not used to it’s potential and has a feel of faded glamour, and is a bit neglected.

Beautiful and good value

Service was top notch. We had to wait 10 minutes for our room to be ready but they were great about everything and accommodating an early morning checkout with bag breakfasts for us. Location is also great next to the river and near major attractions in the city.

Excellent hotel. Inconveniently located, away from the city, but that also has its advantages. Staff was very friendly and room small, but spacey. Classy facility, which I would frequent again. A/C was not efficient during heat wave, but that is to be expected.

Magnificent stay. It was the perfect location to see all the sights on both sides of the Arno. Breakfast was excellent and the rooftop terrace was a great spot to eat with a fantastic view. Staff was kind and room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

Nice property. Decent room, but pay attention to room choice. My room, a suite, only had one small window overlooking the river. Some of the staff members are fantastic and others not. While marketed as a 5 star hotel, it is a mid 4 star hotel. While it has parking, it can only accommodate a few cars and street parking is rough. I had some day trips to do so parking for a rental was important. Otherwise I would have stayed in town center.

This was our third stay at your very fine hotel. We enjoyed it very much. The hotel is perfectly sighted for sight-seeing. All the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. However, my wife and I did think that Simonetta and Franco in the bar were exceptionally attentive and we do commend the the service they gave us each evening. They are a real asset to the hotel.

Incredible off-season stay. The breakfast each morning was incredible. So much better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. Fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was amazing. The Villa itself is a renovated Renaissance property and all around are little reminders of its glorious past. We were too early for the pool (starts in June) but I have a feeling that’s why we got such a great deal. The views from the decks are incredible and it’s close to Florence. The roads are windy and narrow, so be careful! But one of the roads down from the Villa revealed a spectacular view of Florence. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Would gladly return.
