The Tweed Luxury Vacations

This is not a 5 star hotel. We stayed for 5 nights over the new years period. It’s very run down eg ripped lounges, stained carpet, leaking/mouldy roof, peeling paint, only 1 lift working, a lot of the light globes were out in the chandelier, shower floods into the bathroom & no floor drain. Most of the staff are disinterested. While it has a big pool, the facilities are poor, only 3 umbrellas in the 18+ zone, half the lounges are missing the padding so you are laying on hot black plastic, they ran out of pool towels, there’s broken equipment pilled up in the corners. I also had suspected food poisoning during my stay & needed to see a dr, who mentioned I should let the hotel know as I’d only eaten hotel food in the 24hrs before being sick. When I mentioned it to the reception on checking out the staff member didn’t ask any questions or show any concern, I doubt she reported it.

The location is amazing: right on the beach, easy walk into Surfers shops and eateries, free onsite parking, really well set up with three bedrooms, full kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer, two bathrooms and heaps of room to spread out a bit.

Nice apartment. Great view. Easy access with lifts. Nice heated outdoor pool with area to lounge around or do a bbq. Very close to beach, surfclub and other shops. Staff professional and helpful. We will stay again.

We had a really nice stay at Peppers Soul Surfers Paradise. The location is unbeatable — especially for New Year’s Eve. Watching the fireworks from the area was amazing, and the neighborhood itself is lively with the beach, shops, and restaurants all around. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made things easy. Another big plus is the food scene — there are so many good places to eat right next door and within a short walk. A couple of minor issues: the curtain in the master bedroom was slightly torn, letting in early morning sunlight and affecting our sleep, and the dishwasher had a few dirty dishes left inside when we arrived. Overall, these were small things in an otherwise great stay.

I did not have a bad experience but would not go back. Just not a 5 stars experience. Hotel looks ok design wise. Room was confortable and very clean. View was good.

Lovely apartment, clean, modern & enjoyed the swimming pool, gym & sauna. Staff were helpful & welcoming. We loved our stay.
