Bavarian Alps Kid friendly Vacations

Wifi is quite weak. Other than that, breakfast was great, location is great (very close to city center station), extremely easy to get to Oktoberfest. However, since it's located very close to bars and clubs, street-facing rooms will get a lot of noise past midnight.

Friendly Staffs and breakfast was nice

Had a lovely stay here! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and I’d happily stay again.

The hotel has an excellent location, with the Harras UBahn station lift directly across the road from the property. Rooms were clean, and had nearly all the amenities you would need. A fridge in each room would be nice. There was a very friendly member of staff working at the bar one of the evenings we stayed in for a drink. However there was a member of staff at reception who was rude. When we were checking out he tried to claim we had two breakfasts and put it on the room. He even tried to claim my signature, and whoever signed for the breakfasts signature were the same when they were clearly different. It was only when I insisted he checked the CCTV to see we had not gone into the restaraunt at all that he then spoke to the waitress in the restaraunt who then confirmed it was not us who had the breakfasts. A sour ending to an otherwise pleasant stay.

I love everything, breakfast was great, the room and the staff. The only step back was the wifi, that didn’t work during our stay, but could be an unusual issue. Except for the internet, everything else was worth it.

The Kempinski was excellent. An amazing property right on one of the most impressive streets in Munich! The one thing we didn’t love was the pool…the water was a bit chilly for our taste, especially after coming from warm heated pools at another property in southern Bavaria. We did also ask 3 times for our twin beds to be pulled apart (friends traveling); once in the booking, once at check in and a 3rd time later that same evening. We eventually did it ourselves, which is regrettable to report at such a high end property. Despite that, a very lovely stay. We also appreciated the complimentary champagne at check in, just what the doctor ordered after a long train ride to Munich and local transfers on the tram with our bags!

The staff is so pleasant, location, the best! Perfect at Oktoberfest! We will come back! Diane from Canada

Great hotel, very secluded on top of the hill (i.e. a bit difficult to access), but everything was wonderful. Superb front desk/concierge.

Check in hours are specified but you can coordinate for if you arrive out of those times. Hotel is clean, beds comfortable, nice soaps. Good value and only about 20 min walk to Salzburg old town central. Easy to get to via public transit from airport (one bus). Strong recommendation when you consider value for money and efficiency! I would gladly stay again and recommend for those traveling to Salzburg.

Not a good hotel and rooms so small and smelly.. old and needs help.. won’t stay here and don’t recommend specially for the price
