It’s a good 3 star hotel with nice staff in a great location.

Really lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and willing to sort out any issues. The wifi was down when we stayed but they sorted out an alternative. Extra nice touches like the water bottles that you could filed with fresh cold water and take to your room and chocolates left on your bed. Very easy to hop on a bus or a tram down to the centre or you can walk for about 15-20 mins instead. Very good value for our stay.

Staff were friendly, and our rooms were available for checkin early which was great. Great location - super close to the train station They give a complimentary bottle of water However, they didn’t change the towels. Even when we left them on the floor to be changed, they simply took the towels and didn’t provide fresh ones. When we came back at the end of the day and requested more they said it would take 2 hours?? Not sure why they thought it would be okay to leave us with no towels or why it would take so long to replace them but it made us late for our dinner reservation. When they’d clean the room daily, they wouldn’t even replace our used mugs. The room was super small and the cleaning could have been better. For the price paid, I’d expect better. Wouldn’t return or recommend

Very spacious and comfortable room. Clean and well appointed. The gardens are so peaceful and nice! The parking is located at the property so it was very convenient.

Everything was great

We cannot say enough positive things about the stay. Jerry welcomed us upon arrival, Vera led us to great adventures, and Alberto and his crew gave us great cuisine. The spa, both restaurants, everything was just perfect. Close enough to everything but still intimate. First class. We will be back.

Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended.

Spacious room, great location only 4min walk to the Meteo station and 10min to Duomo. Nice area
