Stunning Lobby and bar. Check in experience was satisfactory. Room was small with small double bed. Cocktails at the bar were great however the bar experience was disappointing. Along with other residents we had to wait at least 45 minutes in between drinks to be served again at one point having asked for more drinks the server disappeared and forgot us…. we were still expected to pay13.5% service charge. Frustration was clear amongst the people around us. The bar was understaffed and the frustration with this was also apparent amongst them! We gave our feedback on check out about the bar experience, the team member was sympathetic but advised that we should have reported this to the bar staff at the time. This was not appropriate to do at the time as it was difficult enough getting a drink let alone trying to give feedback or refusing to pay a service charge.We were offered a voucher however we were leaving at that moment so declined the offer and just left our feed back. Great location for central London ..just next to Hyde Park

A trip with my 11 year old, they made us both feel very welcome provide mini dressing gown, slippers, shower kit, colouring books and crayons and loads of snacks for my soon. Just really top notch service all round. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Overall the stay was good. I do love this hotel and its fabulous location. But on this instance 2 out of the 3 elevators were broken so it took FOREVER to get up or down. And when I pulled out the pull out couch to sleep there were all these fly bugs in it. There was also so work being done for a leak on my floor (9) so it smelled horrible like rotten carpet and stinky water. I had been here before so I know what a wonderful hotel this normally is. Just very unfortunate

I recently stayed at the The Clermont Charing Cross London and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely exceptional — warm, professional, and always attentive to anything we needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their genuine friendliness made the whole stay feel special. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and maintained to such a high standard. Every detail feels thoughtfully done, creating a really relaxing and welcoming atmosphere throughout. One of the best things about the hotel is its brilliant location in London. It’s perfectly placed for theatres, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing — really anything you could want to do while visiting the city. Being so central made getting around incredibly easy and added so much to the overall experience. I’d highly recommend The Clermont Charing Cross to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in London with outstanding service and an unbeatable location. Also thank you for the amazing upgrade to a studio room and the birthday cake on arrival .

We have stayed at the hotel several times and it’s one of our favorites when we visit London. The executive rooms are nice and the area, Mayfair, of course is beautiful. You’re just a short walk from everything including Green Park across the street. We love the city and visiting the hotel. This visit sometimes our mini bar was not restocked fully but otherwise we had a terrific time. Thank you, we will be back.

This is a great place as a tourist because of the location. You are near everything and there is so much to do which is amazing! However I would not rate it 5 star because the rooms themselves. We stayed at the basic rooms but for a 5 star I would’ve like more. Beside that the room did its job and having it be close to everything is a great reason to book this place.

The room was very small but it had everything I needed except a magnifying mirror. The breakfast was very good and fresh and there was a nice coffee machine for latte, cappuccino, or whatever suited you. It was very convenience to Paddington station and several good restaurants.

The room was a little small, but nice and clean. I feel like either everyone was super quiet or the sound proofing in the hotel was very good. I didn’t hear any neighbors and slept well. Breakfast was very good, the gym is small but has a flat bench, and a couple useful machines to get a solid workout while on travel. The only thing I didn’t like was there aren’t many trash cans in the hallways and there were no wash clothes to wash your body in the shower. I guess this is an English thing but I wish I would have known that before arriving. The location is perfect, and I will likely return again in the future.
