Western Iceland Golf Vacations

I checked 5 stars for most of the main questions for this survey but in the end, the whole experience was just "OK". The room arrangement and furniture style was not efficient and walking through the room requires a bit of maneuvering. The lighting controls were confusing and the bedside light switch was hard to reach. All the bedroom power sockets are very close to the floor. I am a big person and I found the chairs extremely small and low to the floor, making them very uncomfortable. The bed seemed like it had a supporting bar running the length of the mattress in the middle - I felt as if I was rolling over a hump left or right all night. That said, the staff was very helpful and kind. The location is great for the tourist area. And everything was very clean.

Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed recently for 5 nights with my partner. A short distance from the BSI Bus Terminal, the hotel is easy to get to on foot (10 mins walk, although up a steep hill!), and a fantastic location for access to Rainbow Street and the centre of Reykjavik (again 10 mins walk). From the minute of checking in to checking out, every staff member we spoke to was friendly, courteous and helpful when answering queries (especially the gentleman who was on front desk, he's a credit to the Hotel, no question or request was too much) Stayed in a double room, which had ample space for the 2 of us with luggage, comfy bed, although did ask for additional covers after the first night as we were really feeling the cold. Breakfast was included with our booking, and each morning was a good selection of cooked items, cold meats, cereals and pastries. (Upon request, a to-go breakfast can be arranged with notice if you have an early departure for excursions) All in all, we had a really pleasant stay, and our experience was better than another hotel we'd stayed at previously. Hotel Holt will be our new home away from home without question.

Lovely staff, wonderful breakfast, nice hotel and great location. I thought they had a spa, but their spa was actually a lounge … no sauna or soaking….. otherwise perfect.

The room was not clean. Specifically the bath room and tub had black something coming out of the drain and jets. Also they promoted rooftop hot tubs but neither of them were operational. Food was not that great in the restaurant. Overall we were not happy with our stay. We complained to management for some sort of compensation and they have ghosted us. Very poor experience. Would not recommend staying here.

Front staff was so pleasant! She came up and fixed my tv. Room was nice and clean. Property was nice and quiet. Easy to get to and was close to Reykjavík.

The staff were always on hand and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, pristine. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed breakfast and friendly staff.
