The location was very good with shops and excellent eating places within walking distance. Opposite the ferry terminal allowing easy access to go into Auckland city. My main downside was that I came away being bitten by something (a bed bug I am presuming) from my bedroom pillow. I woke up on the second morning with a large bite on the side of my face (left side), which I reacted to very badly. The side of my face became worse over the next 3-4 days, blistering, sore and swallon.

"We found upwards of 5 cockroaches in our room. The kettle would boil but not switch off, the cooktop did not work, there was no plug for the kitchen sink for dishes and we requested a portacot which came with no lining or base so could not be used for our baby."
