Malta Cheap Vacations

Staying at the Corinthia Palace was such a treat. From the fantastic service to the amazing food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & did not want to come home. The room was so spacious & comfortable, with a lovely sized balcony. Big, comfortable beds & a choice of pillows if needed. Even the slippers were comfortable. The pool was wonderful! The sun loungers were easily available… no sun-bed hogging is allowed. Large towels are supplied & cleared away afterwards. Staff are on hand offering amazing poolside service (there’s even a buzzer if you want to order anything). There’s a nice choice of restaurants with something on the menu for everybody, and we enjoyed live music in the evenings in the Caprice Lounge. Breakfast was fantastic! £25 each with a huge choice of buffet & made to order menu options. Lots of choices for drinks from tea/coffee to juices & even iced lattes. We were stuffed! There are only a couple of small things to note. Getting in/out of the main doors with luggage was a bit of a faff as the doors were closed/heavy & nobody to help (wouldn’t have been an issue if my husband was with us). Also, the room was a bit tired around the edges and could do with a freshen up. Lastly, there’s not much around the hotel (which for us was great!). There is a free hotel shuttle service though. We didn’t use it as we’d stayed elsewhere to explore, then spent our last few days exclusively at the Corinthia Palace to rest. Overall incredible, thank you, we will 100% be back!

Do not hesitate to book this hotel! This hotel is in a great location overlooking Spinola Bay but also for visiting the rest of Malta. Bus stops opposite and literally in front of the hotel for both directions also make for easy travel although we found uber great. Georgios the manager was so welcoming and professional and clearly works hard to ensure his staff are happy because all the staff were brilliant ie. William, Frank, Ojo, Manwel and the cleaner of our room was so happy and polite. The staff really made our stay memorable! The rooms are spacious, very clean and have a great shower. The balcony was amazing night and day to just sit and watch the world go by. The food at the hotel is lovely, we had lunch and it was so tasty (Salmon poke bowl and club sandwich) generous portions of salmon and the sweet potato fries were the best we have ever had! The hotel also has an asian fusion restaurant called Zest but we did not manage to dine there but some of our lunch menu came from there and it was beautiful. The rooftop pool and bar are clean and inviting, towels are provided and we never struggled for a bed. There are some shaded areas too; needed in this heat! Plenty of sophisticated bars and restaurants surround the hotel but there are also cheaper eat places too. Great suoermarkets. Paceville is a few minutes walk up the hill for shopping and ‘ibiza’ style bars for the younger generation. Don’t miss out on a great experience at this hotel. Book it, you will not regret it!

Great location if you want to be close to Gozo and Comino Ferry while also being next to the less rocky beaches of Malt. The Public Transport near this hotel was also very reliable and useful to get around while food was all next to the location. The pools were very clean and nice and the amenities were awesome. Staff definitely made you feel VIP the entire time.
